The Heavy Metal Continental

New from Neil Young

About his alternative fuel Lincoln Continental.

Perhaps not among his more artistically successful works, but....

I Ain't in the Mood for Sunshine Anyway

It's plain to see, the sun won't shine today
But I ain't in the mood for sunshine anyway
Maybe I'll go insane
I got to stop the pain
Or maybe I'll go down to see Kathleen.

A swallow comes and tells me of her dreams
She says she'd like to know just what they mean
I feel like I could die
As I watch her flying by
Ride the north wind down to see Kathleen.

Stars hang high above, the oceans roar
The moon is come to lead me to her door
There's crystal across the sand
And the waves, they take my hand.
Soon I'm gonna see my sweet Kathleen.

Soon I'm gonna see my sweet Kathleen.

I'm Your Man

As a big fan of Leonard Cohen, I am not sure how I had missed seeing this when it came out about 4 years ago, but I did somehow. Just happened to see it at the local library yesterday so checked it out.

Heartily recommend it for anyone who likes his music.

I see most of the movie is available on youtube, so if you don't wanna look for it at Blockbuster or Netflix, here it is -- albeit in peicemeal fashion

Runaway Train

If there was ever an example of a runaway train, this BOTF thread would seem to be that.

358 posts and apparently still growing. A perfect example of what has gone so wrong with that forum.....
